Damon Edward Garmany passed away on October 23, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, love, and a family who will forever carry a piece of him in their hearts.

Damon was truly one of a kind. A free spirit who marched to the beat of his own drum, he lived life on his own terms and never felt the need to be anyone other than himself. He had his own way of doing things, his own outlook on life, and a personality that could never be duplicated. Those who knew him will remember him for exactly that — simply being Damon.

Damon is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Marci Garmany; his son, Sean Garmany (Chasity); a host of beloved grandchildren and a great-grandchild; his brother, Dana Garmany (Amanda); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carthel Garmany; his mother, Delight Watson; and his uncles, Roy, Lester, and Junior Garmany.

Damon's life was a reminder that we aren't all meant to walk the same path. Some people are meant to make their own, and Damon certainly did. He leaves behind more than memories; he leaves behind a legacy of individuality, love, and a reminder to embrace life in our own way.

While his passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fill, his family will hold tightly to the laughter, memories, and moments that made him so uniquely special.

Rest peacefully, Damon. Keep marching to the beat of your own drum. Your journey here may have ended, but your story will live on through the generations of family you leave behind. You were truly one of a kind, and you will be forever loved and deeply missed.
