Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dan was one of the few, one of the proud, DAN WAS A MARINE. SEMPER FI. After his honorable discharge, he migrated to the Heart of Dixie, Alabama. ROLL TIDE!! After moving to Gadsden he met the light of is life, Shirley, where she worked at a local drug store. After winning Shirley over by arguing about the number of cigars that were supposed to be in a box of White Owls, they married and began their life journey with Diane, Susan and Danny. Throughout his years, one could always find Dan at Jacks or Krystal talking it up with anyone he met. Dan enjoyed helping others, he loved his children and spoiled his Grandchildren. The best kept family secret seems to be, Dan taught his Grandchildren how to drive, long before their 16th birthday. He enjoyed watching his Grandchildren play sports or cheer or anything they enjoyed doing. He just wanted to be there with them. Dan also enjoyed spending weekends at The River Lot eating, laughing and trying to relax. Dan enjoyed his friends and family and loved spending Saturdays watching Alabama Football. He loved singing Dixieland Delight, especially the parts about Tennessee, LSU and Auburn. Roll Tide Roll. There will NEVER be another Dan Sieber.
