

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 Wednesday, November, 13, 2013 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mr. Danny Lowe who passed away Monday, November 11, 2013. Dr. Michael Yopp and Dr. Bill King will officiate, with burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Danny served as a deacon at White Springs Baptist Church. Before his declining health, he served as Bus Ministry Director and was a leader in the RA program. He was a generous, loving and giving husband, father, pa, brother, and friend. He was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Danny was an avid Alabama “Roll Tide” fan.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents Gordon & Roselle Lowe, in-laws Fred & Maudie B. Southern, and son Scott Daniel Lowe.
Danny is survived by his wife of 47 years Dianne Lowe; daughter, Mitzi (Danny) Madden; grandson, Josh Madden; brother, Bill (Nancy) Lowe; sisters, Melba (Dave) Rogers, and Retha (Wally) Burns; sisters-in-law, Wanda (Wayne) Allen, Janice (Richard) Blue; and brother-in-law, Andy Southern; aunt, Janette Weatherby; chosen brothers, Roger Maples, and James Whitaker; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: James Whitaker, Roger Maples, James New, Albert Wood, Nick Greenhaw, Reggie Arledge.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Bro. Vince Whittington , Wally Burns and all personal friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregivers Amanda Heard and Terry Manos for their loving care.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service today at the funeral home.
