Funeral service will be 12:30 pm Wednesday, March 28, at Collier Butler Chapel for Daphane Marie Riley Uesry, age 54, of Jacksonville, Alabama passed away March 25, 2018 after a battle with cancer. Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.
Daphane was a loving and caring lady who was always more concerned with others than herself. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Riley; father in law, James Reynolds; and grandparents Walker and Millie Green and E.W. and Winnie Riley.
Mrs. Uesry is survived by her husband Russell Uesry; Daughter Hailey Uesry; mother Betty Ann Riley; brother Mike (Trellys) Riley; nieces and nephews, Joshua (Eileen) Riley, Clay Riley Mack, Marshal and Maudie Morris, Jennifer Beegle and Brook Uesry; mother in law Diane Reynolds; brother in law Chad (Shawn) Uesry; aunts and uncles Carl (Jane) Green, Joyce Green, Redgie (Virginia) Marion (Nancy), Wayne Green and Susie (Paul) Stephenson.
Special thanks is extended to her friends and co-workers at JSU School of Business and Industry, Dr. Bill Fielding, Tom Allred, Marva Sykes, Tawana Roberts, Jackie Calender, and Kelly Roberts; 7th Floor and SICU nurses and staff at Brookwood Hospital.
Pallbearers will be Rick Noah, Randy Green, Joey Green, Marshall Morris, Connor Uesry, and Chad Uesry.
Visitation will be from 10:30 until the hour of service at the funeral home. Graveside committal service and burial will be at Green Family Cemetery in Southside.
