David Walker Allsup

Mr. David Allsup, age 63, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 at 2:00pm at Collier-Butler Chapel. Rev. Sherrie Reynolds will officiate. Interment will follow at Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements. Mr. Allsup loved the outdoors, camping, caving, and traveling in general. He never went anywhere the same way twice. He loved airplanes and reading. Mr. Allsup was preceded in death by his parents: Walker Allsup and Nancy Wesley; and very special aunt and uncle, Virginia and Henry Luker. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Allsup; sister, Anne (Emmett) Conaway; mother-in-law, Minnie Ferguson; sister-in-law, Linda (Gene) Owens; brother-in-law, Tommy Ferguson; several nieces and nephews; his fury companion, Jack; and his other animal companions. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Humane Society or your favorite charity of choice. Special thanks to Chuck Brown.
