David L. Charlton Jr.

A parlor service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Mr. David Lee Charlton, Jr. age 58, of Southside, who passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate with burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Collier-Butler

Funeral and Cremation Service directing. He was employed with Morris Oil Company for 30 years. He loved his family, riding motorcycles and most of all watching the Alabama games.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Charlton, Sr.; and step father, Lamar Norris.

He is survived by his mother, Christine Norris; children, Lisa (Jamie) Nichols, Lee Charlton, April (Clifton) Gross, Ashley Beason, Chase Charlton and Aubrey Charlton; grandchildren, Austin Whittemore, Dakota Willis, Josh Willis, Jakob Willis, Mikayla Willis, Drayton Gross and Justin Nichols.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Officer Conway, Officer Higgins, Sand Valley Fire Department and Charlotte (Ernie) Gamblin.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until hour of service at Collier-Butler.
