David Hudson, age 74, of Attalla, Alabama passed away on Friday September 20, 2019. Visitation will be Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Collier Butler Chapel. Rev. Tommy Green and Rev. Jerry Wood will officiate. Burial will be at Lee Family Cemetery. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.
David was a member of Full Gospel Church. He loved working his church and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also loved working with wood.
David is survived by;girlfriend Linda Owens; daughter Shelia Wood, Attalla; and son Jason (Gwen) Hudson, Guntersville; sister Virginia Kilgore, Gadsden and brother Ray Hudson, Steele; grandchildren Doug (Kellye) Wood, Attalla, Krystal Wood, Illinois, Daniel Wood, Attalla, Shannon (Joey) Gipson, Guntersville, Tori Hudson, Guntersville, and Scott Hudson, Guntersville; great grandchildren De'Lana Marsh, Illinois, Kaylei Marsh, Illinois, and Janeice McCoy, Birmingham
David was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Hudson; parents William and Ruby Hudson, son-in-law Ricky Wood; and brother-in-law Jerry Kilgore.
Serving as pallbearers are Pat Barros, Shane Fugatt, Thomas Booker, Josh Fowler, Donnie Hudson, Kevin Hudson, Craig Borgersrode, Jeff Kilgore, Doug Wood and Daniel Wood.
