He was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving for 26 years and retiring as a full Colonel.
He lived a life of service and purpose, dedicated to his family, his country, and his faith. He touched the lives of many, and all were better for knowing his grace, generosity, compassion, and his unmatched sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife Joan and his two sons, Bryan and Travis.
