Funeral services will be10:30 a.m. Thursday July 21, 2016 at Collier-Butler Chapel for David Lynn Robertson, age 62, who passed away on July 16, 2016. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
David was a 1971 graduate of Gadsden High School and a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was a librarian for Gadsden State Community College. David enjoyed photography, concerts, movies, and researching his family’s genealogy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carden Robertson, and mother, Ruby Jane Ables-Robertson.
David is survived by his brother, Mickey Wayne Robertson.
Honorary pallbearers will be his cousins, Kenneth McCulloch, of Decatur, AL and Mike Robertson, of Southside, AL; and Eric Retzer, of Gadsden, AL.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:30 a.m. Thursday, prior to the service.
