OBITUARY
Deborah Marie Sanders
May 5, 1949 – February 12, 2021
Deborah Marie Sanders passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. Funeral Service will be on Monday, February 15, at 11am at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Doctor John Screws will officiate. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Deborah was born May 5, 1949, was a 1967 graduate of Gadsden High and worked 30 years in banking as a secretary and loan processor with Alabama City, South Trust, and Wachovia. Deborah will fondly be remembered for her sweet spirit and radiant smile. She will be missed by all, especially her Bellevue Baptist Church family of 56 years. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Eugene Debs and Lois Beck. Brother Travis Beck and in-laws Paul and Wylodean Sanders. Her memories will be cherished by her beloved husband of 51 years, James Arnold Sanders; sons Daryl (Hope) and Jonathan; grandchildren, Alissa and William Sanders, Delaney (Justin) Shuberg and Deanna (Brian) Graves: great-grandchildren Brylee Shuberg and expectant Allison Graves; sister-in-law Judy Beck (children Chris, Laurel and Shanna). Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Bellevue Baptist Church, 150 Noccalula Dr. Gadsden, Alabama 35904. A special thank you to doctors Sandra Carpenter and Murtaza Faheen, the families of Marvin Walker, Harold Sherrell, Kelly Burns, Randy West, special cousin Pam Findley, those that preformed nursing skills and caring friends. Deborah has been a precious friend for many years. We spent a lot of time together in younger years. Our families got together on weekends and we enjoyed going on trips together. She has always been a bright light in my life. I know she is at home now and pain free. Thank you. Lord!
