He was my first great love and I just found out he is gone. I am heartbroken and sick that I never reconnected and let him know just how special he was and how much he meant to me all those years ago.

I am just heart broken over the loss of a wonderful person and dear friend.  I met Dewayne August 31st, 2008 and he became such an integral part of my life.  We were like soul mates.  We spent many happy times together and enjoyed visiting his Mother in Gadsden.  He had the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met.  I lost my Mother just 5 weeks before losing Dewayne but I know in my heart he is now without pain and has earned his wings. God Bless you Dewayne...I will always love you and never forget.....

An awesome guy.  He had dropped by to see me when he was in Gadsden a little while back and I wasnt there, I was disappointed I missed getting to see him. He promise he would come by again when he was in town again.  Just my reminder of let people know you care while they are still around to know it.

My prayers are with your family during this difficult time.  I had the pleasure of meeting Dewayne a couple of years ago through my dear friend Jeremy.  I am so happy that God allowed me to get to know him and his wonderful personality.  My heart also breaks for Dingo and Precious b/c I know that they miss their daddy SO MUCH now :-( God Bless you ALL including his family AND dearest of friends.

When we were kids, Dewayne kept the whole neighborhood laughing.  We lost touch, but I'll miss him anyway.

He was a great man and a dear friend.  Dewayne had the best sense of humor and was an inspiration to all who knew him.
