Doris Louise Brock

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Doris L. Colegrove Brock, 90, of Southside, who passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014. Rev. Earl Mitchell of First Baptist Church in Attalla will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Brock was a retired Department Manager from Sears Roebuck and Company. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Attalla and was a living example of her faith. Her joyful spirit touched many lives and she will be remembered for her devotion and generosity.

She was preceded in death by she beloved husband, Henry Martin Brock.

She is survived by her daughters, Jane (Thom) Bridges of Sonoma, CA, and Joan Owens of Poinciana, FL; grandsons, Neith Baxter Brock, Blaed Martin Bridges; and great-grandchildren, Jada, Charlie, and Hollis Brock.

The family requests no flowers; memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Attalla.

The family will accept friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
