

Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Dorothy J. “Dot” Boozer, of Gadsden who passed away Monday, November 10, 2014. Rev. Bob Ivey will officiate with burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.
Mrs. Boozer was a member of East Gadsden Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir. She was involved with other church activies and most especially enjoyed traveling with the church seniors.
She was a wonderful mother and nana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Boozer.
She is survived by her children; Vickie (Mike) Ivey and son, Todd (Pam) Boozer, grandchildren, Traci Ivey Spratt, Blake (LeighAnne) Ivey, Tyler (Haley) Boozer and Kyle Boozer, great grandchildren, Olivia Boom, Genevieve Spratt, Brodie Michael Ivey and AnnaBella Kate Ivey, several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to caregiver and Dot’s special friend, Connie Bodine who is regarded as a God sent Angel to our mother.
Special thanks is extended to the nurses and staff of Alacare Home Health and Hospice. The family would like to extend special thanks to hospice nurse, Denise Huselton.
The family will receive friends from 11 am until the hour of service today at the funeral home.
