Dorothy Mae Jacobs

Funeral services will be at 12:30 Monday, February 22, 2016 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Dorothy M. Jacobs, age 87, of Gadsden, who passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Bro. Bryan Atwood will officiate. Burial will be at Moragne Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Jacobs was employed for many years by Sears Roebuck.

Husband, JT Jacobs preceded her in death by 3 days.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Gregory Jacobs; brothers, James , Howard, Bobby (Ruby) McCarver; sisters, Virginia McCarver, Annie Belle (Dan) Windham, and Lois (Ralph) Corfman.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Jacobs Gulfport, MS; grandson, Chris (Brittney) Jacobs; granddaughter, Julie Jacobs; daughter-in-law, Regina Jacobs; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray (Mildred) McCarver; sister, Betty (Robert) Freeman; sisters-in-law, Betty McCarver and Nell McCarver; and many nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers are all of her personal friends.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to Campground Baptist Church, 20577 Highway 53, Gulfport, MS 39503 or to the charity of your choice.
