

Dot retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in 1982 after working 37 years. She also served as the secretary of Local 12, United Rubber Workers of America.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.D. Robertson.
She is survived by her daughters Anne West Quinn (Randy) of Gulf Shores and Linda Bingham (Michael) of Tuscaloosa, grandchildren, Mandy Poundstone (Dave) of Montgomery, Nikki Thygesen (Steve) and Brandt Quinn (Char) both of Colorado, and great-grandchildren, Anne and May Morgan Poundstone, Erik, Nick and Tate Thygesen, and Matty Newman Quinn, and a near-sister, Thelma Haymon.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Ralph Godfrey, Randy West, Lisa and Chris Gann, the staff and residents of Regency Pointe, and Gadsden Regional Home Health and Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Collier-Butler Funeral Home with Lauil Thompson and Rev. Darrell Brown officiating. Private burial will be held later at Crestwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gadsden Regional Hospice, Manna of Gadsden, or one's favorite charity. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m on Tuesday prior to the service.
