So very sorry to hear about Eddie's passing. Eddie was a good friend in our early East Gadsden and Gadsden High School days. I moved away from Gadsden and haven't seem him in a long, long time but the memories of our early days never leave us. He was a great guy and I know he will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and especially with his Dad who I also knew well and spent many times at his house and his clothing store on East Meighan back in the day.

I am so sorry for your loss. Eddie was a good man. His obituary said it best, he never met a stranger and was always willing to help you if ever needed help. I worked with Eddie for years at the plant and Eddie was was a good friend of mine and my late son Jake Hayes, he was a pallbearer at Jake's funeral. Again I am so sorry for your loss, Eddie is in a better place and not suffering anymore.
David, Valerie and not Hayes.
