My heart is broken over this sweet Aunt. So many memories while I grew up three houses from her, Uncle WH and kids. My daddy lost a leg and Aunt Elaine and Uncle WH helped my family in every way. There wasn't a selfish part in her. She helped anyone that was in need and was always sharing. I remember I didn't have a coat and she let me borrow hers to go on dates to ballgames. That is what I call in a person giving their shirt off their back to help someone. I have so many sweet memories of one of my favorite Aunts. Sharron, Debra and Tammy my heart goes out to you beautiful cousins. I pray that God gives you the comfort and peace that you need. Aunt Elaine is rejoicing with many family members. I love you girls so much.

Some of my most wonderful memories as I grew up were spent at my Aunt Elaines. Whether it was shelling peas, shucking corn, making homemade ice cream or canning and freezing something on the front porch of our house, with her family, my grandfather Hershel, my grandmother Alene, and with her children, my cousins, are memories I will cherish! She and my mom were like sisters, and so close. Her home was another home to me. She was such a huge part of my young life, I loved her dearly. RIP Aunt Elaine, I love you
