Mrs. Broome passed due to complications of pneumonia & Alzheimer’s.
Mrs. Broome was a native of Cullman AL, however she was a resident of Alexandria for the past 50 years.
She was an avid Gardner with Yellow Roses as her favorite, she loved to read and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Broome is preceded in death by her husband Kernal Broome, parents Wynelle & Egbert Giles & sister Mary Ellen Parker of Cullman.
She is survived by her children Rory (Jerri) Broome of Gadsden, Robin (Paul) Hayre of New Hope PA, three grandchildren Suzanne, Alexander & Sophia and great-grandchild Maddox, sister Berta Lockwood of Sacramento CA, 2 brother in laws Wayne Broome of Alexandria and JL Parker of Cullman, along with several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Broome will lay in rest at Collier-Butler Funeral home in Gadsden AL. Visitation will be March 13, 2016 @ 1:30 with services to follow at 2:30. No graveside service.
