Funeral services for Lee Holloway, 90, of Rainbow City, will be at 12:30 p.m. on Monday at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Scott Bryant and Rev. Mike Holloway will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Holloway was married to her beloved husband, Bill for 73 years and exemplified a happy Christian home. She was a devoted mother to her son, Mike, and she was also a loving mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Holloway; father, Reuel Walker; mother, Eunice Walker; brothers, Dumah Walker, Reuben Walker, Herman Walker, and Joseph Walker.
Mrs. Holloway is survived by her son, Mike (Susie) Holloway, Auburn; granddaughter, Meg (Scott) Bryant, Auburn; brothers, Edward (Sylvia) Walker and Dan (Donna) Walker, Roopville, Georgia; sisters, Audrey Spearman, Rainbow City, Helen (Don) Price, Sandra Worley, and Judy (Willard) Powers, Carrolton, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scott Walker, Rodney Walker, Tim Walker, Mark Todd, Toney Walker, and Johnny Lovejoy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Adrian Chandler, Sid Gardner, Dennis Lankford, Bobby Cooper, Terry Walker, Phip Price, Gary Hopper, Scott Hopper, David Walker, Thad Walker, John Powers, Terry Ford, Michael Jenkins, Sheldon Worley, Kevin Worley, and Charlie Garner.
