Flora Mae White

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Flora Mae Spurling White, age 71, of Collinsville, who went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 8, 2011. Pastor Gene Sturdivant and Gerald Foster will officiate with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Service directing.

Survivors include her husband, Nolan White; children, Darlene (Stanley Adams), Ronald, Steve (Bobby Studdard) and Tammy (Linda Jennings); eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Bill Spurling; sister, Billi Jo Shadwrick; a host of nieces and nephews; special cousins, Leon Shortnacy and Becky Garmany.

The family would like to express a special thanks to all the nurses, doctors and the rest of the staff at Riverview Regional and housekeeper, Nyra “Blessings” Jenkins.

Pallbearers will be children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
