
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Frances Woolf Schmuck of Gadsden, AL who passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Rev. Harvey Beck will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Schmuck graduated from Gadsden High School in 1939 and from Gadsden Business College in 1940. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Gadsden and Morris Fellowship Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Schmuck, Jr.; parents, Clarence and Essie Woolf; step-mother, Cecil Woolf; and sister, Joan Black.
She is survived by son, David (Rose) Schmuck; grandchildren, Gina (Allen) Hubbard, Jamie Bowers, Kim (Jeff) Alderson; great grandchildren, Lainey Schmuck, Macklyn Hubbard, Brayden Bowers, Allie Alderson; nephews, Mark and Brad Black; and niece, Teresa Mueller
Pallbearers will be: Fred Sington, Jim Day, Allen Hubbard, Jamie Bowers, Brad Black, and Mark Black.
Honorary pallbearers will be the 2nd Hall staff at Gadsden Health Care; and the staff of Lawley Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Gadsden or the charity of your choice.
