
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Frank A. Crowe, 87, of Ashville, who passed away Monday, February 2, 2015. Dr. Roger White will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Crowe was born and raised in St. Clair County. He pastored a number of churches in St. Clair and Shelby Counties. He retired after 45 years of service at Square D in Leeds, as a Molder and Pattern Maker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Mary Crowe; sisters, Helen McCartey, and Annie Cash; and brothers, Sawyer, Edwin and Roy Crowe.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elizabeth Crowe; sons Greg Crowe of Columbus, GA, Mike Crowe of Dade City, FL, and Ken Crowe of Gadsden; grandchildren, Nicholas (Kristy) Crowe, Nathan Crowe, Natalie (William) Salazar, Madison Crowe, Bailey Crowe, and Dawson Crowe; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Neal (Reva) Crowe of Trussville, and John (Rose) Crowe of Rainbow City; sister-in-law, Ann Crowe of Tulsa, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim, Tracey, Nicholas and Nathan Crowe, William Salazar, Jimmy Palmer, and Kenneth Lambert.
