Frank Aaron Rhodes

Graveside services for Mr. Frank A. Rhodes, 81, of Gadsden, will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Union Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Glenn Mize will officiate with Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services in charge of arrangements. Mr. Rhodes passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden.

Mr. Rhodes is preceded in death by Lela Madrie, Steve Rhodes, Louise Roden, Jr. Madrie, and a son, Timothy Rhodes.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Rhodes; sister, Joyce Wallace; children, Shelby South, Nancy (James) Nash, Marvin (Ruth) Rhodes, Wesley Rhodes, Lisa Rhodes, Alvin (Cindy) Rhodes, and Jill Smith; grandchildren, Joy (Cres) Underwood, April Butler, Melissa (C.J.) Gann, Mason Rhodes, Michael (Rena) Putnam, Joseph Smith, Brad Hester, and Brent Hester; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy, Richard, Travis, William, Andy, Heath Freeman, Walter Clanton, and Eddie Skelton.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and also on Monday from 12-1p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services in Gadsden prior to graveside services.
