Gaynell J. Callan

Mrs. Callan was born January 24, 1920 in Alabama City. She was a member of the Forrest Avenue Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Callan was preceded in death by her parents, John and Genie Warsham, husband, Aaron T. Callan, sisters, Ruth “Boots” Warsham and Odette W. Gibbs, brothers, Charlie Warsham (Mary) and Hoyt Warsham (Billie).

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Callan Garner (Dale), grandchildren, Kim Morris (Mike), Cindy Ballard (Steve), Leandra Campbell (Eddie) and Jenni Garner, great grandchildren, Katie Morris, Chris Morris, Marisa Ballard, Brannan Ballard, Tyler Duke (Piyanka Ghosal), Carlyn Campbell, Connor Campbell, James Thomas and Hannah Thomas.

Pallbearers will be Mike Morris, Steve Ballard, Eddie Campbell, Tyler Duke, Chris Morris, James Thomas and Connor Campbell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be member of the Forrest Avenue Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Dr. Courtney Lowe.

The family extends special thanks to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice in Albertville, AL.

The family will receive friends from 11 am until 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
