Chapel funeral service for George W. Duncan, 82, Gadsden who passed away Saturday, will be 2 PM Monday. Rev. Philip Elliott will officiate with burial at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Duncan was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and retired from Bowman Transportation. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Duncan.
Survivors include his son, George J. (Linda) Duncan; grandchildren, Shane (Darlene) Duncan and Shelley Robinson; great grandchildren, Mason Robinson, Dylan and Dalton Duncan; brothers, Grady Duncan of Chatsworth, GA, James O. Duncan of Warner-Robbins, GA, And James M. Duncan of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Helen Cameron of Boaz, Elizabeth Koch of Dallas, GA, and Pauline Alonzo of Patterson, LA.
Pallbearers will be George J. Duncan, Shane Duncan, Chad Robinson, Garry Richards, Johnny Boatwright, and John East.
The family will accept friends on Monday from 12 until 2PM at the funeral home.
