Earth has lost a great man but heaven is enriched with his presence. Tick was a brave man and fierce defender of his family. He worked over 45 years for the City of Gadsden as Street Maintenance Supervisor. He was a loving and giving man who never wanted anything in return. Family, family projects, and hunting with his children and grandchildren were everything to him. We are sad to lose him but grateful he is back in our mother’s arms in heaven, where we will join them one day.
A heartfelt thanks to Tracy Billingsley for her loving guidance and help to fulfill Tick‘s wishes. Special thanks to Kayla Faulkner, Doug Bly at Brothers Wholesale, LeighAnne Ivey, and our team of angels from Marshall County Hospice. Funeral services for Tick will begin 3:00 PM at Collier Butler Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb 25 with visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Forrest Cemetery in Gadsden, AL. Reverends Harold Daugherty and Joe Robison will officiate. Pallbearers will be special family and friends.
