
Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Collier Butler Chapel for Glen C. Miller, 66, Rainbow City, who passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013. Burial will be at Antioch Church of Christ, Snead. Neil Stewart and Jay Stewart will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Glen was born Sept. 6, 1946, in Blount County. He was a teacher, coach and administrator for Blount and Etowah County Schools. After retiring, he worked part time for Joe McEachern Photography. He was instrumental in the building of the new CED Fellowship House in Gadsden. He met and accepted Christ in 1972, when he became a member of Antioch Church of Christ in Snead. Glen loved life, his family and his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Connie and Rebecca Miller; wife, Barbara Pinson Miller; and daughter, Wendy Michelle Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Brackett Miller; stepdaughter, Allison Shell; stepson, Mitchell Cameron; grandchildren, Molly and Brynn Woodside; brother, Roy (Beth) Miller; sister, Elaine (Johnny) Sisson; father- and mother-in-law, Charles and Martha Brackett; sister-in-law, Lisa Brackett; cherished friends, Terry and Michelle Beck and Danny and Barbara Payne; and four nephews and two nieces.
Pallbearers will be Steve Adkins, Terry Beck, Mitchell Cameron, Dick Campbell, Dennis Fairchild, Ron Greer, Kevan McGehee and Danny Payne. Honorary pallbearer will be Joe McEachern.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
