Glenda attended Gadsden High School. She worked and retired from Harvestfield Church where she was a secretary. She loved her work as church secretary and loved her church body at Harvestfield Church. She loved greeting people as they came through the door each Sunday as a church greeter. She loved making people feel welcomed. She was known for giving children treats and writing endless letters of encouragement.
We would like to say thank you to all the Amedisys Home Health nurses and physical therapists that lovingly cared for Glenda. To Gary and Anita Murray for ALL you guys did, as well as several others who came and stayed, and fixed food, and brought endless milkshakes and sweet treats, her favorites. A special warm felt thank you to Joann Vaughn, Sherry Arflack, Patsy Bennefield, and Jill Roberts. You ladies were our dream team and Glenda loved each of you.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday evening, February 3, at Harvestfield Church. The Visitation will be at 5pm with a service to follow at 6pm. All family and friends are invited. The service will also be available for remote viewing via YouTube Live through Harvestfield Church at 6pm.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.collier-butler.com for the Oliver family.
