Harold G. Head

Mr. Harold Glenn Head, age 71, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, December 08, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 3:00pm at Collier-Butler Chapel. Pastor Royce Head will officiate.

Harold was a 1969 graduate of Gadsden High School, and also graduated from the Alabama School of Trade after earning a degree in Auto Mechanics. Over the years, Harold received various degrees in the field of mechanics after working with Sear Automotive Department, Cain-Blue-Coombs, and C & J Services.

He was an avid fisherman and was a life-time member of Bass Masters, he also enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles. Harold was a member of Twelfth Street Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Alvis Head and Julia Morgan Head.

Harold is survived by his brother, Royce (Ann) Head; and sisters, Eliza Jane Heath, and Judy Head; Nieces and nephews, Angie (Michael) White and Michael Heath; Great nieces and nephews include, Cade and Julianne White and Sam and Sawyer Heath.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Debra Reiland and the staff of Gadsden Health Care and Rehab Center.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 2:00pm until 3:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
