Harriet Victoria Johnson

Harriet Victoria “Vicki” Johnson, 75, of Gadsden, AL, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020, 12:00p.m., at Collier-Butler Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Leesburg. Bro. Lauil Thompson will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Johnson was a very loving person who never met a stranger. She was an avid volunteer with the American Red Cross and belonged to the Credit professionals. She enjoyed loving her mainecoon cats, watching the Auburn Tigers, and playing her favorite game Mahjong. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Vicki is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger L. Johnson; parents, Paul and Stella Pope; and sister, Nancy P. White.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Christian (Brenda) Johnson, and Jay (Carolyn) Johnson; and niece, Megan E. White.

Pallbearers will be Trace Welling, Jay Johnson, Mark Johnson, and Kenny Upton.

The family would like to express a special thanks to “The Wayword Sisters Club” and the nursing staff at Gadsden Health and Rehab.

The family will accept friends from 11:00am until the hour of the service on Sunday at the funeral Home.
