Helen Kelley Gulledge

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Helen Kelley Gulledge, 86 of Gadsden, who passed away Monday, January 26, 2015. Patti Gulledge will officiate. Burial will be at Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Gulledge was a lifelong resident of Etowah County. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She had a love for animals and never turned a stray away. She was a member of Bellevue United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gulledge; and parents, Willie and mamma Kelley.

She is survived by her children, Linda Peerman, William Gulledge, and Keith Gulledge; grandchildren, Traci Curtis Garmon, Staci Curtis Collins, Kelly Gulledge Smith, Chris Gulledge, Jason Gulledge,and Michele Gulledge O’Brien; 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Chris Gulledge, Jason Gulledge, Dustin Phillips, Cody Smith, Riley Gulledge, and Carson Phillips.

The family will accept friends from 10:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. prior to the service.
