She worked at Graham Drug store for over twenty years. She was also a private sitter at the formerly named Holy Name of Jesus Hospital and Baptist Memorial Hospital. She loved this work dearly. Even in the latter days of her life she spoke of her love for doing this work. Inez will always be remembered for her compassion for the sick and those who were grieving the loss of a loved one. It wasn’t unusual at all for her to prepare food for her friends, neighbors and church family.
One of her most enjoyable hobbies was fishing with her husband. She and Alton caught many crappie on the Coosa River and at Canoe Creek. They didn’t catch all of the fish; they left a few for the rest of us. They fed many family members and neighbors with their catch.

The family would like to thank all of her nurses, doctors and CNA’s who loved her dearly at Attalla Health Care and New Beacon Hospice.
