Jackie Wayne Hale

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Young’s Chapel Church for Jackie Wayne Hale, 67, of Hokes Bluff, who passed away at home Saturday, July 9, 2016. Burial will be at Young’s Chapel Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mr. Hale was born in California and resided in Hokes Bluff, AL. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Mr. Hale will be remembered for his loving ways. He was a great husband, father, and friend.

Mr. Hale was preceded in death by his father, Bud Hale; mother, Mary Hale Phillips; son, Johnny Alverson; and brothers, Johnny Hale and Ricky Hale.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Parker Hale; children, Joseph W. Hale, Ronnie L. Alverson, and Michelle L. Bearden; grandchildren, Wesley Alverson, Brandon Alverson, Dalton Alverson, Meranda Bearden, Justin Bearden, Jeffrey Bearden, Joseph Bearden, and Shane Shanefeilt (Alverson); and brothers, Curtis (Loretta) Hale, and Roger (Frances) Hale.

Pallbearers will be Braydon Knight, Cody Bearden, Brandon Alverson, Curtis Hale, Wesley Alverson, and Michelle Bearden.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Young’s Chapel Church.
