

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Black Creek Baptist Church for James Kevin Foster, 62, of Sunland, CA, formerly of Gadsden, who passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014. Burial will be at Black Creek Baptist Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Foster retired from Lockheed Martin after 33 years and many commendations. While at Lockheed Martin, he worked in the Aerospace Industry on many classified projects for the Pentagon. Mr. Foster also served in the Army. He was a graduate of Etowah High School and Gadsden State Community College, where he received an Associate of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology. He also attended Jacksonville State University.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Foster; mother, Myrtle; brothers, Bobby Jack Foster, and Durward Foster; sisters, Billie Jo Stonecphyer, and Freda Butler; and nephew Ricky Adams.
He is survived by his fiancé, Lucia Orellana; Lucia’s children, Alvaro Escobar, and Tony and Veronica Garcia; sisters, Avis Nelson, and Joan (Donny) England; brother, Jerry (Jeanette) Foster; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Max and Mark Nelson, Greg England, Kyle Blackwell, Gerald Foster, and Alvaro Escobar.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to your favorite charity in James’ honor.
The family will accept friends Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
