James Bruce Musick

James Bruce Musick, age 74, of Gadsden, AL passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Bro. Craig Carlisle and Ralph Grider will officiate. He will be laid to rest at Crestwood Cemetery. The family will accept friends from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Bruce was born and raised in Gadsden. He was a graduate of Gadsden High School class of 1969. He attended the University of Alabama and was apart of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1992. Bruce was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as well as Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He was a member of 12th Street Baptist Church for many years. He served as pack leader for Cub Scout Pack 116 and Boy Scout Troop 92. Bruce will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James K. and Iris Musick.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Sarah Musick; daughter, Anna (Patrick) Tow; son, Mark Musick; granddaughter, Maddie Tow; brother, Roger Musick; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Dianne Grider.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Joe Musick, Barry Musick, Carter Musick, Andy Musick, Brett Grider, Clayton Grider, and Holt Page.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Keith, Roy Gregg, David Powell, Lynn Page, and Gary Gilbert.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Big Oak Ranch or charity of your choice.
