James Lamar Nash

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2012, at Union Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Tidmore Bend Road, Gadsden, AL. The Rev. Glenn Mize will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will be directing services.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Nash; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Katherine Rhodes; brothers-in-law, Tim Rhodes and David South; and best friend, Steve McDaniel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy; adoring daughter, Joy (Cres) Underwood; precious grandchildren, Erin and Brady Underwood; mother, Joyce; and a brother, Bobby (Lisa). He is also survived by in-laws, Shelby South, Marvin (Ruth) Rhodes, Wesley Rhodes, Lisa Rhodes, Alvin (Cindy) Rhodes; chosen daughter, Pam McAlpine; special friends, Myra McDaniel, Ray and Gail Shew, and Reggie Roberts; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mr. Nash was employed with Isbell Hallmark Furniture for 32 years.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 3, 2012, from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral Home in Gadsden.
