She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake Martin Sutherlin Jr. and Georgia Ellis Sutherlin; and brother, Jake Martin Sutherlin III.
She is survived by her brother, George Allison (Fair) Sutherlin; and her two children, Alyson (Tim) Jackson and Bobby (Pat) Welch. Grandchildren include: Jonathan (Denise) Welch, Merrill (Dawson) Friday, Taylor (Lindsay) Jackson, Mark (Colby) Welch and Patrick Welch. Great-granddaughter is Jane Adele Friday.
Jane was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church. She graduated from Gadsden High School and worked for many years with Swift Sutherlin Insurance and Realty.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Forrest Cemetery. The Rev. Ken Casey will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Visitation will be 30 minutes before the service at the grave site.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Gadsden.
