Jannice Anne Osborne

Jannice Anne Hoge Osborne, age 72, of Rainbow City, Alabama passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023. A graveside service for Jannice will be held Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Rainbow Memorial Gardens, 1440 W Grand Avenue, Gadsden, AL 35904 with Rev. Jacky Duncan officiating.

In 1967, Jannice met Steve, the love of her life, in the Emma Samson Rebel marching band. She graduated from Emma Samson High School in 1969. Jannice worked at Applied Industrial Technology for 25+ years, where she was the first female Branch Operational Manager in the company. Jannice was a devoted wife, mother and Nana who loved gardening, reading, painting, watching Hallmark, and loving on her grandchildren. Jannice was preceded in death by her parents Vaughn and Mabel Hoge, Sister Jeanne Allen and brother Butch Hoge.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Steve Osborne; daughters Heather (Jeff) Lange and Stephanie Franklin; grandchildren Braxton Franklin, Lily Lange, and Daisy Lange; sister Barbara (John) Smith; chosen sisters Jamie Duncan and Jamie Clemons; her precious furbaby Ms. B and numerous nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Braxton Franklin, Alex Hoge, Logan Hoge, Brett Bailey, Corey Reed, and Chris Murphy.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Hunter Gilbert.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Grandview SICU.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Swim Across America to raise money for innovative cancer research including treatment and therapies.
