Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at Collier-Butler Chapel for Jennifer Martin Wright, 50, who passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014. The Rev. Wayne Burns will officiate. Burial will be at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Wright was a graduate of Southside High School, Auburn University and Jacksonville State University. She was a nurse at Trinity Medical Center. She loved all of God's creatures and made her home open to them all. Jennifer was Auburn University's biggest fan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Martin; mother, Celeste Martin; brother, Ricky Martin; grandparents, Noah Hurley and Lilly Hurley, Clarence and Iretta Alexander; and aunt, Eleanor Garrett.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Wright; sister, Mary Anna (Robbie) Martin Smith; cousins, Debbie (Garrett) Strawn and Tommy Garrett; niece, Jaclyn Celeste Smith; nephews, Robert Douglas Smith and Charles Eugene "Gene" Wright; and the Alexander family, Margaret, Kay, Linda, Samuel and Reetta.

Pallbearers will be Gene Wright, Lori Pruitt, Gray Warren, Samuel Alexander, John Strawn and Richard Roberts.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Rainbow City Pet Clinic.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Celeste Hurley Martin Scholarship 4H Club Foundation, 266 Duncan Hall, Auburn, AL 36849.
