
Funeral services for Jewel A. Stover, 79 of Gadsden, who died Thursday, May 17, 2012, will be Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at Collier-Butler Chapel. Rev. Rodger Collins will officiate with burial in Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Miss Stover was born in Walker County but was a lifelong resident of Etowah County. She attended Snellgrove Civitan Center. She was a member of Walnut Park Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Rufus and Pallie Stover, her sisters Juanita Rakestraw and Ruby Graham, and her brother Rufus Stover Jr.
She is survived by her brother Leon (Suzie) Stover, Seattle, WA and her sister Linda (Jack) Patton.
Pallbearers will be Brent Boggs, Phillip Hayes, Robert Amberson, Royce Graves, Joseph Holland and Doug Johnson.
Special thanks to the Walnut Baptist Church family and the Snellgrove Civitan Center.
Family will receive friends from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the funeral home.
