Jimmie Sue Hamilton

Jimmie Sue Hamilton, age 69 of Rainbow City, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015. The funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Monday, January 19, 2015 at White Springs Baptist Church. Brother Abel Garcia and Brother Vince Whittington will be officiating. The burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1- 3:00 PM before the funeral.

Jimmie Sue graduated from Gadsden High School in 1963 where she was a band member. She later graduated from the Gadsden Business College. Jimmie Sue was a long time member of White Springs Baptist Church serving in the nursery and many committees. She was a member of the Friends N Faith Sunday School Class where she developed life-long friendships. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Jimmie Sue was preceded in death by her parents, M.C. and Dorothy Curry.

Survivors include her loving husband, Judson Hamilton; daughters, Traci (Lance) McCallie, Julie (Terry) Walker; grandchildren, Casey Leek, John McCallie, Haley Handy; brother, Stanley (Dotti) Curry; sister, Jan Lindsey; an uncle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Stanley Curry, Casey Leek, John McCallie, Lance Mccallie, Terry Walker, and Zach Lindsey.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Friends N Faith Sunday School Class.
