I am so sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I remember your dad's kindness what a wonderful doctor he was. I am thankful I got to know him and the Cross family while I was worked for John, Tracy and Mason at Cross Printing for so many years. You have many fond memories to treasure of Dr. Cross.

Dr. Cross will be missed by everyone that knew him. He was a great doctor, and our family doctor for many years. He delivered our first child who was named after him. Prayers for his family. May he RIP.

Dr. Cross has been a very special and loving Doctor & friend to the Ralph & Bernice Harris family for a countless number of years. I kindly send my condolences and concerns to the family. He is a man of God that will certainly not be forgotten. We will truly miss a doctor that knew each patient personally & cared for you like his own. Dr.Todd Cross was probably the kindest, funniest, best all-around human being I have been fortunate enough to know. Most of my best memories of my adult years living in Gadsden include Todd Cross......

So sorry to The Cross Family! Dr. Cross was our family's doctor for years and we all loved him dearly! Will be praying for the family today and the difficult days ahead.

Dr. Cross was a special man.He took Dr.Lowe  under his wing  when we first came to Gadsden 2007, he told us a lot about this town and how to care and love every patient that walk through that door. Dr. Cross was my mothers doctor for 56 years. He delivered all three of us boys.The oldest one in 1959,the second one in 1960 and me in 1966. She hated when he retired. You were a good man and a good doc. You will be missed

Dr Cross was our doctor for many years delivered our first 45 years ago and wasn't on call when our second son was born 39 years ago but he took care of our family along time he was the best and cared for everyone , RIP Doctor Cross you will be missed!!

When I worked as a nurse at Attalla Nursing I got to work closely with Dr Cross. He lovingly nicknamed me "Trouble". Later when I worked night shift at the hospital, he was the only Dr that I knew of that would come out in the middle of the night to console grieving families when they lost a loved one. He was always smiling, and always made his patients smile by calling them by affectionate pet names. He was one of a kind, and will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear of his passing. I will never forget when he took care of Mr and Mrs Bright, my in-laws. When they passed away he came to the funeral. What a kind thing to take time to come by and give his condolence. He was greatly loved by many. My heartfelt prayer for his family.

I loved Dr. Cross dearly.  I remember one Sunday morning he was making his rounds before going to church and he asked about two of his patients.  I told him I had both of them.  I worked the night shift (12 hours). I answered every question he asked about each of the ladies in question.  He told his resident that he loved a nurse who was always prepared and knew about his patients.  He said it sure made his job a lot easier.  I felt so proud that morning because Dr. Cross did not toss out compliments a lot.  He was an excellent physician. Dr. Cross loved being a physician and he loved all of his patients.

I'm so sorry to hear this. He was such a kind and precious doctor. He delivered me on October 23, 1968. My brother is named after him (Todd) and he saved my oldest brothers life when my brother was a young boy by diagnosing him with spinal meningitis when no other doctor knew what was wrong with him. He was my mothers doctor for 45+ years and was wonderful to her the entire time. He told my mom as she started getting older not to sit down and retire to keep moving. She's 80 and to this day we try to get her to rest and she still tells us what he told her, "keep your body moving." 
 I remember as a new nurse I made rounds with Dr. Cross one morning, we went into a patients room who was extremely sick. He ask the charge nurse why the patients TV wasn't on and she explained he didn't have family and no one to pay for it. Dr. Cross told her to have the mans tv turned on and send the bill to him. I will never forget that. It was a pleasure knowing him and he will truly be missed.

Dr. Cross you were truly a blessing a God fearing Man.  Phyllis he was loved by so many people and so are you.  I love you and will be praying for you and the family.   I am going to miss him.  I always enjoyed seeing both of you making rounds each morning at the hospital.

We will miss this sweet man so much. Prayers to Phillis and the rest of the family.  We loved him so much at Covenant Fellowship. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

I worked along side of Dr. Cross for many years at a local nursing home. He was so kind hearted and loved what he did for his older patients. I have many very fond memories of him. He was one of a kind and you just don't find many doctors like him anymore. I remember him holding up a game of golf to meet me on the golf course to write a presciption for a patient that was in distess. We joked about that for many years. May God bless his family with strenth and courage to continue on through these difficult days. I am sure he is on God's golf course hitting another "hole-in-one".

Thankful for Dr Cross love and care of my brother, James Glass many years ago.  I was surprised when he and wife would visit on Christmas to make sure Jim and His family were cared for.  Compassionate and Passionate Man of God who happened to be an earthly healer and care-er of many.  May He rest now gently in the peace of our Lord.

He was one fine doctor. He was a good friend to my family and delivered me on March 14,1967. Always had a smile on face. I loved him and his wife Phyllis they were very sweet people.  God bless you and your family. I am thinking of you all in this sad time in your lives.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Cross. He was my parent's doctor and friend for many, many years. He was my family's doctor also for years. We all had great confidence in him as he cared for us thru those years. He delivered both of my children. I will never forget how I felt when he confirmed that I was pregnant with my second child and in the same visit he told me that he and Dr. Rowe would not be delivering babies any longer. He sent me to  an OB doctor. It upset me so much that I starting having morning sickness which I never had with the first baby. But before I could see the OB he told my mom to tell me that "he" had decided to keep delivering babies and for me to get back over there to him. I made my appointment and was back with a week and never had another day of morning sickness. When I told him that he said, "I have tried to tell women that it's  only in their head." I laughed and he did too. When taking my babies back for checkups he would always parade them up and down the hallway saying, "This is one of my babies." Family, I hope and pray that you know how many people your loved one touched with kindness and love. May God give you peace and comfort during this sad time in your lives.

Dr.Cross was a great  man and physician. He truly cared about his patients. He will be missed greatly.

So sorry Dr. Cross was a great doctor and man. My mother loved him!!! He always told me I 'lol take ca re of her just like I would my own mom. He always called her mommy when he address her. He will be truly miss.

So sorry about Dr. Cross. He was and will always in my eyes be the greatest and kindest Doctor I've ever know. He was great to my mother. When he was her doctor. I'll always remember he'd call her mommy and always told me he would take care of her just like he would his own mother. Always filled my heart. He was a man and Doctor that this world needs more of.
