We were saddened to see of Johnny's passing. He was truly a very kind and caring individual. We first met him and Linda on a mission trip to Pikeville Kentucky and developed a lifelong friendship. We traveled all over the US and many parts of Canada with him. He always provided us with great memories and places to see. His driving skills with that big bus were amazing. I never regretted taking a trip with Johnny. He just might be giving tours down those streets of gold now. Our condolences to Linda and the family. Prayers for peace and comfort in the days ahead.

Linda, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We cherish the time we were able to spend with Johnny, although it was short. He was such an inspiration to us both. We would walk into Life Group early and there he would be, ready to share his love for God with us.

May God wrap his loving arms around you during this time. We love you!

Will never forget Johnny’s sensitive heart for God, his faithful and consistent presence in church even when he didn’t feel good, and his spirit of generosity with his time and his garden. He is already so missed, but we know he is now enjoying his Savior Whom he loved so much.

Johnny was a high school classmate. I remember him as a good athlete, friendly, always pleasant to be around. Ironically our Graduation from Collinsville High School was May 23, 1958, 62 years ago. Condolences to his family.

Linda and family,

My Linda and I are praying for you during this time. We will always remember the good times in Life Group with Johnny. I appreciate his giving heart and the good vegetables he so willingly shared with us. He will be missed by all of us but we also rejoice that he is with his Heavenly Father and the suffering he endured in this life is over. We look forward to that great reunion day with Johnny and all of our loved ones!

God bless,
