Graveside service will be at 2:30 Sunday, October 28, at Forrest Cemetery for Joyce Rooks Fox, age 94, of Hampton, Georgia (formerly of Gadsden) who passed away on Tuesday October 23, 2018. Bro. Lauil Thompson will officiate. Collier Butler funeral Home will direct services.
Mrs. Fox was a longtime resident of Gadsden and a member of Christ Central Church. In her early years she worked at the Gadsden Theater and the Princess Theater. While working at the Gadsden Theater she met her husband of 74 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Tom Fox, her parents, and brother Earl D. Rooks.
She is survived by her daughter Brenda Humphries; grandchildren Jennifer (Jason) Hyde and Dennis Humphries; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be her family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1until 2 pm.
