

A celebration of life will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Riddles Bend Baptist Church with Pastor Rodney Prickett officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 2 pm until 3:00 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services.
Keith was a 1974 graduate of Etowah High School. He enjoyed working on cars since the age of 12 and was an auto mechanic having worked at various car dealerships. He was blessed with mechanical skills and could fix anything. Keith enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his grandchildren.
His father, James Waites, preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 27 years, Karen Waites; children, Kayla (Kenneth) Thacker, Kristi Foster, Tony (Shonda) Foster and Cody Foster; grandchildren, Kaleb Thacker, Addie Foster, Maddie Foster, Parker Foster, Karsyn Foster and Lilly Foster; Mother, Bobbie Waites; sisters, Terri Thompson and Paula Serrato; nephews and niece, Chris (Deborah) Steward, B J (Elizabeth) Steward, Carl Brewer, Gage Smith and Catie Vinyard; mother-in-law, Carolyn Smith; brothers-in-law, Tim (Jennifer) Smith and Jeff Smith.
