

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Kenneth Ray Harris, 68, of Glencoe (formerly of Hokes Bluff) who passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016. Rev. Matt Meeks will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Kenneth enjoyed painting and repairing cars and attending car shows. He was a two year veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. Kenneth was saved in 1977 and currently a member of Eastside Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon. He loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Michael Harris; and parents, Ray and Edna Harris; as well as his in-laws.
Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Betty Harris; daughter, Kendra Harris; son, Todd (Chylia) Harris; grandchildren, Alexis Harris, Jordan (Deana) Harris, Hannah Harris, Abby Harris, and Gracie Harris; great-grandchildren, Hayden Bearden, and Tanner Harris; brothers, Tim (Deborah) Harris, and Randall (Betty Carol) Harris; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Harris, Josh Hawthorne, Alan Farley, Joseph Nichols, David Amos, and Dalton Amos.
Honorary pallbearers are Tanner Harris and all personal friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 22, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
