

He was born on November 10, 1953, in Etowah county and spent nearly his entire life in the Tillison Bend community, where he built a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family and friends.
Kenneth graduated from Gadsden High School in 1972, where he proudly played high school football and competed as a wrestler, building lifelong memories as a Tiger. After graduation, he began a 20-year career with Gulf State Steel, where he worked tirelessly in the electrical department as an overhead crane operator where he formed lasting friendships. He later achieved his dream of owning and operating his own heating and cooling business, serving his community with honesty, skill, and a helping heart.
Kenneth never met a stranger. Known for being kind, funny, and hardworking, he loved fellowship with others and always made people feel valued. Whether watching Alabama football, heading out for deep sea fishing adventures, or simply enjoying time with his family and friends, Kenneth brought warmth and joy to every moment.
Kenneth married the love of his life, Sherry Muskett, his high school sweetheart. They shared a beautiful marriage of 53 years built on faith, love, and friendship. She was truly his greatest blessing.
He was a faithful member of Louis Street Baptist Church and James Memorial, and cherished the faith and fellowship he found there.
Kenneth leaves behind his loving wife, Sherry Muskett, and his devoted daughter, Elizabeth Muskett, who were the greatest treasures of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Giula Jo Lumpkin-Muskett and Horace D. Muskett, whom he loved dearly.
His legacy is one of love, laughter, and loyal friendship. Kenneth’s warm smile and generous spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral Home, 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, AL 35901, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Bruce Word will officiate.
Kenneth will be laid to rest in Crestwood Cemetery, 2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, Alabama.
