Kimberly Hutcheson Davis, 53, passed away on Jan 14th, 2021 at Grandview Hospital in Birmingham, AL due to complications from COVID-19. She was born September 9th, 1967 in Albertville, AL to H.M. and Lynnette Hutcheson. Kim and her family moved to Rainbow City when she was young. Kim had a wonderful childhood growing up in Rainbow City and graduated from Southside High School in 1985. Kim then went to Auburn University and Pharmacy School. She graduated in 1993. She had two sons, Hayden Davis and Will Davis, with Tim Davis of Ashville (former spouse). She was a long-time resident of Rainbow City, AL. She has worked as a registered pharmacist for her family at Super Bee Pharmacy in Rainbow City the past 25 years, alongside her father H.M. Hutcheson, sister Debbie Adams, deceased brother Michael Hutcheson and niece Abby Adams Hodges.

Kim was a devoted and loving mother, attentive daughter, dear sister, trusted sponsor and everybody’s friend. She brought a smile, joy, endearing friendship and love to everyone that ever met or knew her. She knew and loved the Lord and knew Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was the most beautiful person you could ever come to know. She was beautiful on the outside but what was special about her was the life force you could see within her, that you could see in her eyes when she greeted you. She was there for her family, sons, and all her friends in the best, and the worst of times. She was always faithful. Kim will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Kim is preceded in death by her first husband, Scott Bishop; and her older brother Michael Hutcheson.

Kim is survived by her two sons, Hayden Davis and Will Davis; her father H.M. Hutcheson; mother Lynette Hutcheson; sister Debbie Adams (her husband Dale); brother Brad Hutcheson (his wife Mitzi); Donna Hutcheson (sister-in-law); nephews Tyler Adams, Jordan Hutcheson, Briggs Hutcheson, Bryce Hutcheson, Bradley Hutcheson, and Brody Hutcheson; nieces Abby Adams Hodges, and Lauren Hutcheson Shirley. Kim is also survived by her loving boyfriend that brought her much joy, fulfillment and happiness in the past year, Kevin Pipkin.

Pallbearers are Tyler Adams, Jordan Hutcheson, Briggs Hutcheson, Bryce Hutcheson, Bradley Hutcheson, and Brody Hutcheson.

Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Grandview Hospital for the loving care and attention they provided Kim.

Visitation and funeral services will be private by invitation only with family and close friends due to concerns about COVID-19 on Sunday January 17th at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be available for remote viewing via Facebook live at 2:00 p.m. The family will have a Celebration of Life later in the year when concerns about COVID-19 have dissipated.

I went to high school with Kim and we both graduated in 1985 from Southside High School. She always had a smile to give you and she was a sweet beautiful person. She was the first girl I dated when I transferred to SHS in 1982. My mom who recently passed away in December from MS owned a store for a few years next to Super Bee. I’m really sad to hear of her passing but I know that she is with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Condolences to her family.

I met Kim and the whole family in 2016 when I started using Super Bee They all have been such a blessing to me and my family. Kim always greeted me and everyone that came in with that beautiful smile and her willingness to serve them. After getting to know her more it was very obvious the love she had for her boys. Very thankful for the time I have had to get to know her. She was truly a servant and a friend to all. Praying for her boys and all of her family. Thankful for her and her precious heart. She will be truly missed ❤️ My family will continue to lift all of you up as you move forward in life. Praying for peace, precious memories and remembering how much you all loved one another. Be thankful for your tears...

So sorry for your loss.
Through the years Kim was so kind and helpful
to our family. She so kind especially to my elderly mother.
She drove well up into her eighties to Supper
Bee to get her meds. After Mother entered
the nursing home and I saw Kim she would
always say "tell Miss Llanelle hello for me."
She was truly one of a kind and will be missed.

Praying for you Kim's boys, family and friends. Kim was such a wonderful light to so many people. She cared deeply for others and loved with her whole heart. She was like a second Mother to my daughter, Kaylee, who worked with her for over five years. She was so much more than her employer, she was a true friend. Kim will be deeply missed by everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.

I never met Kim I’m person. We became friends through Rodan + Fields and then I found out she lived where my son and his family lived. My daughter in law taught both of her sons. Kim was such an encouraging person and we shared back and forth many times. I looked forward to her posts of her devotion every day. She also friended my sister and was a great encouragement to her during a bad divorce. I still can’t believe she is gone. Praying for all her family and her dogs. Lord bless you all. Kim was one of the good ones!❤️
