Lamar Sprouse

Mr. Sprouse was a graduate of Etowah High School, a lifelong resident of Etowah County and had retired from Republic Steel with over 30 years of service. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Sprouse was preceded in death by his parents, James Albert and Louise Sprouse and brother, Thomas Gerald Sprouse.

He is survived by his former spouse, Kay Sprouse, daughter, Gina Marie (Steve) Davis, son, Steven (Susan) Sprouse, step children, Jason Schmid and Kristi Nguyen, grandchildren, Kristin Davis, Chris Sprouse, Kyndall Schmid and Kaylee Schmid. Sisters, Sharon (Tim) Vogt, Jane Sprouse and nephew, Abel Strickland. Special friends, James Hall, John Mitchell and Jerry Jones.
