Lawrence Michael Cahill

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church for Lawrence Michael Cahill, 62, of Eastaboga, AL who passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. Father Jose B. Chacko will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery.

Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.

Mr. Cahill was an avid Alabama Football Fan and loved car racing or any activity his brother was involved in. He was devoted to his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Martin and Patricia Cahill, grandparents, J.P. and Florence Burke and Jones and Virginia Cahill.

Survivors include his brother, William Martin (Pam) Cahill, Jr; sisters, Patricia Cahill (Hoyt Eugene) Hollis; Sheila (Mike) Cahill Mullins and Mary Cahill Smith; nieces, Rebecca Townsend, Karen Henson; Marisa Moehr; Iris Lancaster; Rachel Besson; Sarah Morris; Hannah Gilmer; Caroline Woods and nephews, William Cahill, III and Clayton Mullins; great nephews, Chris Simmons; Connor Townsend; Dakota Townsend; Christian Morris; Gavin Lancaster; Jacob Henson; Derik Henson; Liam Cahill and Noah Cahill; grand nieces, Hali Dixon; Gracie Lancaster; Zowie Morris and Ryleigh Gilmer.

Pallbearers will be Michael Morris, Tony Henson, Christopher Simmons and Knights of Columbus.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rainbow Omega, P O Box 740, Eastaboga, AL 36260.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Rainbow Omega where he resided for the past nine years, devoted staff of ICF of Rainbow Omega, Mr. Stentson and Diane Carpenter, Stacy, Susan, Faye and Michelle, as well as, the numerous CNA’s and support staff.

Visitation will be Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
